About Abe
“The body is art. I see it as light, and I go into it as light. When I do bodywork, I feel myself to be flowing between light, color, and energy.”
Abraham's healing practice began in the womb, while his parents and family were longtime practitioners of Tai Chi. His path since then has been a continuously evolving adventure into deeper levels of healing and capacity to help others in their own journey. Since 2012, Abe has studied and taught yoga and bodywork in India, Singapore, Thailand, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Alaska, and various parts of the United States, sharing his healing gifts at festivals, in studios, indoors, in nature, small groups, private sessions, and large groups.
Abe's healing journey intensified in 2016, while coaching on the Paralympic Downhill Ski Team, when Abe was involved in a severe ski-bike accident. As his body struggled to heal from multiple breaks, fractures, torn ligaments and tendons, he observed in himself symptoms of traumatic brain injury. He resolved to do whatever was necessary to heal himself.
At first meditation was incredibly difficult as he was bombarded with violent images of shattered glass. Chaotic movements made him afraid to close his eyes. But Abe had a deep and meaningful experience while receiving massage: he was transported to a new place, floating above a small reflecting pool, shimmering blue, gold, and white light. The water seemed to be attracted to him, to like him, to want to be near him… the water and Abe were attracted to each other.
The next day, in meditation, he was transported again, this time to a larger pool, another body of water. Over the next week the process grew and evolved; the water continued to speak to him, more loudly, with more power, and increasing volume and flow. His healing continued, and he felt that this water was guiding him back to full health.
Different bodies, the same water.
Abe knew, each time, though he interacted with different bodies, it was the same water. This flows through the earth. It is accessible to all of us. Thus, Abe's journey became dedicated to exploring this divine connection and interaction between these bodies of water: the human body, the etheric body, the earth body, and so many more.
This water flows through Abe, and it flows through you. There is a spontaneous, powerful, healing energy that can be awakened through reverent touch, and it knows what you need to heal. All we have to do is accept it, and move into the adventure.
“I love being a part of your healing and bringing you closer to others. I love helping you access your truth, helping you find the language for it, and creating a safe space to share. I thrive on accessing the child-like mind, unleashing the child in each of us. I guide people into accessing their vision and find communication between their hearts and their minds. When we're having fun and we feel safe, we can truly heal.
I meet people where they are with experiences that they're ready for, so they can feel fully honored, received, loved, and open. In these sessions, I love feeling what other people feel, acknowledging their experience. I have a kinetic and visual experience of others, and intentionally bring light to their areas of need. I become a light force and choose to move through them as light; I project myself through the meridian lines. Each healing experience is an adventure.
I take people on journeys that last anywhere from an hour, a day or a week, into the mountains and valleys and plains to do the work. I love to take people and do the work on top of towering peaks at sunset, out at sea, under the open sky guided by shooting stars that have come from the universe to answer our unspoken questions, to luxuriate over candle-lit dinners in a canoe as the Aurora Borealis dances across the vast darkness. I am present to your adventure.”
“Abe came in to my life at a juncture when I was feeling unmotivated and stagnant. His inquisitive nature, inherent intuition, and joy presented me (and everyone around him), with a critical opportunity to become unhinged from the blockages in my socio-physical systems. Through gentle exploration of whatever issues would arise for me, supported by his deep care and wisdom, Abe's bodywork helps me work through what is in my way so I can drop in to my own inherent beauty and motivation for growth. His touch is intuitive, his tone gentle yet transformative, and his sessions allow me to feel clear and connected. After a session with Abe, there is a greater ease and fluidity to my beingness, and long held patternings of tension and trauma are released under his watchful, heartful gaze. You can see in his eyes the lifetimes of training he has had in the therapeutic arts, in which he has woven together seemingly distinct strands of healing modalities to create an innovative and profound approach to opening the meridians and the energy body to allow greater light and radiance in. Abe uses Thai massage, Reiki, yin yoga asanas, deep tissue massage, cranio-sacral, abdominal massage, and spiritual inquiry to outfit each session based on the individual's needs. What results is profound transformation, potent connection, and supreme renewal. Sat nam.”
